Champion (Legend #3) by Marie Lu

Champion: A Legend Novel - Marie Lu

This had me on the edge of my seat reading it. It was at times very stressful. And I am not afraid to admit it, it also had me bawling.

I love June and Day, it was so nice to get to see some real tender moments between them.

It was also a treat to get to see more of Eden.

As much as I love the whole of the book, and I can see why Lu made the decision about Day, if you're going to do a jump that large, please give us more than those last three pages. It was a real disappointment to be honest, and it had me going from a solid 5 to a grudging 4.

Also can never forgive the repeated use of Tess's, even my autocorrect knows that's wrong.

I leave you with this swoon worthy moment between Day and June.

"You're the scariest, most clever, bravest person I know, and sometimes I can't catch my breath because I'm trying so hard to keep up. There will never be another like you. You realize that, don't you?"

"Billions of people will come and go in this world, but there will never be another like you."
