Twisted Reads

I have been seeing a lot of good things about Sarah Dessen's books and decided it was time for me to read one.

I decided on this one because I related to the wacky sleeping pattern.

I truly enjoyed this, it feels like Dessen has a real understanding for young adults. She writes likable and easy characters, it's not always necessary for major drama and extreme situations. A normal persons normal life can be enjoyable to read too.

The only thing that keeps me from giving this a complete 5 stars is the ending. It felt too short and abrupt, I would personally have liked a little more information to say goodbye with. 

On a side note, I would have loved growing up in a place like Colby. Clothing stores closing at 10pm. Kids playing around on the streets at all hours of the night. My high school days would have looked a lot different, let me tell you.
